Dell Latitude D430 upgrade to Win 7
I recently tried to do a clean install of Win 7 from XP professional on my Latitude D430. According to the Dell website, the D430 is upgradeable to Win 7, so after carefully reading and following all the instructions I found on the Microsoft website, I did a clean install. Everything worked fine except for that the wireless Intel driver I downloaded (vista Version) won't work with internet explorer. I spent an hour with the Dell technical support and was sadly disappointed the tech could not make it work. I have temporarily re-installed xp but would love to find a solution. I'v read in both this site and others that the Latitude D430 runs fine with Win 7.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
