Programming DX6i for Flaperons???

I've read the manual and did the one thing that it told me to do ( enable / add aileron mixing)...but...then what? I have a Parkzone T28 trainer with separate servos for each aileron. I'd like to have the ailerons act as flaperons for landing. Any help appreciated. thanks, Rich
