Wireless connection suddenly disconnects
Since i have my computer (2 years) i had a problem with shared directories, we have 3 more computers at home that are working on a WLAN and only i have a problem with accessing directories.
I called up one of my friends who was told to be a network technician, but after he tried to do something he couldn't help and the problem remained as it was, but after he left, the connection keeps randomaly disconnect and it is very annoying.
I asked him to redo his actions but he said that he doesn't remember what he did, so i am asking here for help.
The sharing is the minor problem, the disconnection is the main problem which i would like to solve first.
I have WIN XP and i use a 3com router.
I have to say that before he tried to fix my problem, i had always a RaLink Wireless icon at the bottom right corner (system tray?), and after he did whatever he did, it is not there anymore.
Please help, i am here to answer any question that you need to help me!
