Gauge cluster and interior lights not working
Well, a couple of months later the gauges stopped reading. The only way they would read was if I pushed the cluster in towards the firewall. As soon as I let go, they would not read anymore.
Thinking this was a problem with the gauge cluster I bought one on eBay from a junkyard in Georgia. I removed my old cluster and installed the new one - nothing. Gauges didnt read or illuminate.
Fast forward to today. I took it to a shop by my apt and dropped it off for a diagnosis. I went to check on it a few minutes ago and the guy says that my cluster needs to be programmed. I asked what that had to do with my interior lights not working and he said they are all connected via the cluster (light switch -> cluster -> interior lights). I said ok, well, why haven't my lights worked even with my old cluster? His response: it needs to be programmed too.
I said fuck it, picked up my car and came home.
I'm getting very frustrated with this. I can't drive my car now because I don't know how much gas is in it.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Interior Lighting - All Out
Hi Everyone, I got into my 328i a few days ago and none of my interior lights were working. The midle dome light that fades in and out when opening door, as well as the rear map lights. The two circle dome lights still work with the switch as well as the trunk light. Any ideas? Thanks!
