healing time for carpal tunnel
I have had carpal tunnel syndrome for a long time. Just recently, I have been typing more than usual. My symptoms acted up tremendously. So after two weeks of typing, I stopped. I began using a microphone to type. However, my symptoms have not subsided. Instead, they seem to be getting worse, even after stopping the typing altogether. I run a daycare. But I do not take infants as this hurts my arms. I cannot stop every activity I do in order to rest, because I do need to work. my symptoms have not acted up in over 10 years, and now they will not go away since I was typing. Does anyone know how long symptoms take to go away? Even after stopping the offending activity, my symptoms have gotten worse, and every little thing I do hurts. I also have cubital tunnel syndrome. The mouse was aggravating that so much that that's why I got the microphone. Does anyone have any idea of whether or not this will heal at all?I've already had two surgeries on my left arm for carpal tunnel, and those surgeries made it worse. I also had cubital tunnel surgery on my left arm, and now that is worse. I do not want to get more surgery, as it is obvious that did not work for me. Does this condition ever heal on its own? Does anyone know what the time frame is in which it takes to heal?
All information would be helpful. I don't know where to turn.
