Pea sized lump on neck
I'm not too sure how far back I can remember having such a lump, but there is a small pea sized lump on the left side of my neck. It doesn't hurt, unless you go probing relatively hard, and the bulge is visible through the skin in the mirror. I have felt around for any other lumps, and came across another one diagonally underneath it which is slightly smaller. I think I have had these for a while now, but only just decided to tell my parents (I'm 15 by the way). They asked my grandfather what it could be (he's a retired GP) and he mentioned something about a naked gland. He also searched by head, face, back and shoulders for any spots indicating some sort of inflamation? I don't understand what he meant, but he said to keep an eye on it.
I haven't too recently had any health issues, and came to this board primarily for the reason that I believe I've had the lumps for a while.
Any help on shedding light on what the lump(s) may be would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers! Liam Burke.
