Salivary Gland Type Lung Cancer

My wife Rose has been diagnosed as having this cancer, A very rare one - only 1 in a 1000 lung cancers are of this type.
She has had a lung removed and is now considering chemotherapy as there is a 50/50 chance the cancer may have spread, but has been advised that the benfits are doubtful with this type of cancer.

Research I have discovered on the internet shows that 24 patients with this type of cancer did not respond to chemo.

Does anyone know of anyone who has or had this type of cancer?

Many thanks,

Pat Mahoney
