lump above right collar bone
Hello! A few months ago, at a routine checkup, my doctor noticed a lump above my right collar bone. She sent me for a CAT scan, which showed nothing. After talking with the radiologist, they decided to send me for an ultrasound, which again, showed nothing. She has now decided to send me to a general surgeon to see if it should be removed. Is this normal for lymphoma? I mean to not have it show up on a CAT or utra sound. I have been doing some research and have found out that I do have some of the symptoms for some types of lymphoma. I have been having night sweats for a few months and have been very lethargic, however, I have not lost any weight. Should I mention this to the general surgeon? The lump is not painful at all. Has anyone else ever had this kind of experience. Just want to prepare myself for what to expect. Need honest answers. Thank you!!
