Pulled Muscle? Charlie Horse?
Sometimes when I wake up from sleeping, I stretch my legs too hard. Just took a nap, woke up, stretched my right leg and - suddenly it hurt. It felt like it pulled and would easily snap, and my leg looked like it was permanently flexed as hard as it could flex through the entire episode. It subsided after a minute or so, but now my right foot is asleep. I'm pretty sure this is a common thing - I have no muscle problems and I'm not too athletic or anything - so what's the deal? What's this called?
And I'm not too concerned about it or anything, I'm just extremely curious and apparently my googling skills aren't sufficient enough for me to pull up any answers on the web yet.
