Armpit Lump
I found a lump in my armpit back in june. I had galndular fever at the time, and had never checked before so just put it down to being a swollen gland. In september it was still there, so i went to see my doc. She examined it and told me it was a lypoma (a fatty lump of tissue) and sent me away. I wasnt convinced so went to see a different doctor. She examined me and though that it may be a swollen node. Told me to come back in 2 weeks if it had not gone. In 2 weeks it was still there so back i went, and i was refered to a surgeon. He examined me and told me that he believed to just be muscle. He sent me for an ultra sound to be sure. When i had the ultra sound the doctor seemed convinced it was nothing to worry about and was indeed just muscle. I left it at that. I still have the lump and its not painful really. I do get aches in my armpits sometimes but i put that down to the glandular fever (mono you call it). Do i need to get this re checked do you think, and is the ultra sound conclusive? Im a 26 year old male.
